Gisela Kreglinger grew up on a family-owned winery in Franconia, Germany where her family has been crafting wine for many generations. This unique experience has inspired her to write two books about the spirituality of wine with a third one on the way.
She holds a PhD in historical theology from the University of St. Andrews and in this book Gisela has woven together her passions for Christian spiritualty and the wonderful and mysterious world of wine.
From drinking wine as a form or prayer to wine’s ability to enhance sex, Ms. Kreglinger shares thoughtful musings, examples, and ideas that spiritual wine lovers will find captivating and affirming.
Karen MacNeil, author of The Wine Bible
This book offers wisdom not just about wine, but about our souls as well ―about the joy, grief, and beauty that shape all of our stories, and that are so intertwined with the making of wine. It will help me drink more slowly and more meaningfully not just from my next glass of wine, but from life itself."
Andy Crouch, author of Culture Making: Recovering Our Creative Calling
